Growing up on Cape Cod, catching the crash of a wave with a boogie board was always a fun sport. Acrylic paints, brushwork was worked in multiple layers after the sky, water and shore planes were established. The sky was painted, then clouds with a dry brushing technique was applied. The color where the water hits the shore is blended with water and sand colors. Of course, the seafoam white color is painted on top when colors underneath are not completely dry allowing blending to take place.
