Description: FRAMED & MATTED U.S. UNUSED POSTAGE STAMP FOR HOSPITALSThis U.S. postage stamp was issued on April 11, 1986 to commemorate the 250th anniversary of New York's Bellevue Hospital Center, the oldest operational hospital in the country. It opened in 1736 with a 6-bed infirmary. Frame is a wood-look plastic (approximate size is 3 1/2 X 4 3/4 inches) and sits on a brass easel (included). The second picture shows a close-up of the stamp, the third picture shows the brass easel, the fourth shows the item on the easel. The last picture shows the back. This makes an excellent gift for anyone who works in a hospital. NOTE: marks on the first picture are only shadows. The last picture shows the back. Unfortunately, the tiny screw that came with this frame would not hold the depth of the mat so it had to be glued in. As you can see, some of the glue "seeped out" over the edge. However, it does not show at all on the front of the picture.I reduced the price of this item & shipping costs due to this. The Stamp is UNUSED U.S. POSTAGE STAMP.
