Description: This is an amazing find! The story goes it came from an old Amish home. The top got broken and the base got sold! Eventually it made its way to me, and perhaps now you! It is attributed to Fostoria Glass and is known as the Safari/Lions Head hand-painted "gone with the wind" style oil lamp base. I have shown you all four lions heads, as well as the four hand-painted desert scenes. Again this lamp base is in great shape with no chips, nick's, or scratches but please check all photos carefully. It could use a good cleaning. It is for oil or kerosene, and has not been converted. It is in original condition. It has the oil canister, wick aperture, and the fuel tank lid. It's 13" high, 10" wide, and features an ornate metal stand. The fixtures appear to be brass. The piece ways just over 5 lb. Rest assured this baby will be well packed and insured! It, as are all our items, sold as is. What you see is what you get!
