Description: Offered for sale is ONE cup in the "American" pattern manufactured by the Fostoria Glass Company. I have several available but they are priced BY THE CUP. This appears to be the flared cup and it stands 2 3/4 inches tall and measures 3 3/4 inches diameter. Fostoria began production of this line in 1915 and it continued into the 1980's and maybe beyond. This is a classic pattern and, due to its long production, pieces are not so difficult to find. The condition is outstanding with no chips, no cracks, no damage whatsoever. You can tell the difference between this cup and more recent productions by the clarity and elegance and lack of bubbles or any flaws.
