This is the smaller chunky variety with a serial number. Ultra RARE bar, rarely seen. According to the allengelhard site less than 250 of this variety was made. This bar measures 1 5/8 inch by 7/8 inch. It is in very good circulated condition. It is listed in the Silver Art Bar Guide Book as number FC-32. Highly sought after Foster bars are rarely seen any more. They minted some of the earliest Silver Bars! This is a smooth stamped planchet that is the smaller more chunky variety. An Eagle design with a ribbon is stamped on the front. the ribbon says SILVER in the middle. On the left side it says .999, and on the right side it says 1 oz. The back is plain.
