The stainless steel part that comes with this kit addresses all of these common issues while providing a lifetime of reliable service due to its modular construction (the guide rod spring can be easily replaced*). A metal also helps decrease muzzle rise due to the slightly increased weight, contributing to greater overall accuracy. Additionally, the striker/firing pin is this kit is CNC machined from 4140 bar stock that is black oxide coated for extended life and resistance to corrosion.
