This jacking point is made from plastic and when lifted with a metal jack (often with curved or protruding edges) with all the weight of the vehicle the plastic jack point inevitably gets damaged. Under the vehicle you will typically find four jacking points on each corner of the vehicle on inspection you will likely see damage from previous lifting.
