Description: Please note: there is only 1 storage box for sale. We have taken pictures and scanned both sides(for close up and detailed images) so you can see exactly the condition and damage on the box. The same graphics are on both sides so it will look as though there are more than 1 box in the listing, but only 1 box is posted for sale. This is a rare 1973 Marvel Comics Foom Mail Away Comic Storage Box with Original Sleeve, complete and never assembled NOS(New Old Store Stock), with artwork provided by Legend Jim Steranko. Debated as to whether this could have been the first ever produced storage box for comic books. It has been said this box can hold up to 15-20 raw comic books without bag and boards. The box is unused, in fantastic condition for it’s age but does have some storage wear present. There are corner bumps present and may not show in scans/images provided), some lite soiling and surface wear with lite edge wear present. The cardboard sleeve shows the same type of wear. Damage was produced in transit from the manufacturer as these boxes were only shipped via a flimsy manila envelope. This item will ship flat/unassembled.
