It is an XPS foam panel manufactured with a waterproof proprietary blend of synthetic polymer mortar and an alkali resistant fiber mesh. This gives it a highly rigid structure and exceptional bonding strength. It is intended for use with the Dural Screw & Washer Pack, to quickly fasten the Durabase XPS board to supporting studs. The 9 boards will cover an average 48 in. x 48 in. shower or a 32 in. x 60 in. shower wall tile installation.
