Description: Selling a lot of Florida snail/gastropod fossils. From the estate of Robert E. Woodruff. Mr. Woodruff was a well known entomologist for the University of Florida, but it was clear at his estate sale that he loved to collect more than bugs including rocks and fossils. These fossils were not labeled so location is not known. Mr. Woodruff collected fossils from Florida and the Dominican Republic, so assume these came from one of those 2 locations. There is one small cowry (see last photo), a couple of olives, a couple of horse conch, and an assortment of other gastropod species. Free shipping in the USA.
