Description: This is a rare April 26th, 1926 programme (playbill) from the one-week engagement of the MACDONA PLAYERS presenting five "PLAYS BY BERNARD SHAW" in repertory at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool, England. The five plays were "PYGMALION", "THE DOCTOR'S DILEMMA" (both featured in this program), "YOU NEVER CAN TELL", "ARMS AND THE MAN" and "MAN AND SUPERMAN". On Wednesday evening, April 28th, 1926, the MacDona Players presented the classic "PYGMALION" starring FLORENCE JACKSON as "Eliza Doolittle" and FRANCIS L. SULLIVAN as "Henry Higgins". Despite these flaws, this rare playbill will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian.
