Prior to settling in Wales he studied photography at Mid-Cheshire School of Art and at West Surrey College of Art & Design before going on to work freelance in Glasgow and London including with Simon Guttman’s prestigious Report/IFL agency based on Oxford Street. His career background is in national and local news and the media. He has photographed famous names from the world of politics and entertainment, and royalty, and covered major news events over the last three decades. He also covers football matches around Britain. Outside photography he is an exhibited artist, having produced screen prints and linocuts on industrial and social history themes.
