Description: Flat Dark Gold Bionicle Mask of Time Vahi. Condition is Used. Rare mask from the early years of Bionicle was the Vahi. This was the first mask design made by one of Bionicle’s co-creators Christian Faber, and was made mysterious as “the Mask of Time.” Originally intended for release with the Lego Bionicle: Legends of Mata-Nui video game, the cancellation of the game meant the original orange masks were instead handed out at special events. A metallic sand yellow variant would be packed exclusively in the US in several Bionicle sets in 2004. Both the orange and ‘gold’ variants are highly collectible, in part due to the story role the mask played in the original Bionicle and its cameo’s in the 2015 reboot.
