The mask is cut in vinyl masking film, apply the mask to your fully cured base coat, airbrush (recommended, but you can use rattle cans or even a brush) the flame colour & remove the mask.... job done! The whole job can be done within an hour. Follow it up with a clear coat if desired and you've got a show winning flame job! The difference with Lazy Modeler masks is that they are not a generic mask, they are designed so that you can get the full flowing "over the hood" flame job... not some tacked onto the side flame. The mask can only be applied once as it is destroyed when removing it after painting..
