Description: Over the past 50 plus years I’ve collected many dolls, doll clothes and related items. I used to remove the body of these and make what I named “bed head” dolls. I had an exclusive contract (with a retailer in France) to remake these bed dolls into dresser top dolls and decorate them with all vintage hats etc. they purchased over 150 from me over a 15 year period. I couldn’t sell them anywhere else for a period of 15 years. They retailed them at $495 ea. Of course now I’m able to sell the ones I have left as I choose as my exclusive contract has long expired. I have about 50-60 left and will start selling them in December at $195 each. I quit making them in 2005. I have some full bodied bed dolls left I never got around to redoing and am going to sell them now “as is”.
