Description: Fischer & Mieg Hand Painted Floral Butterfly Dark Turquoise 8 3/8 Inch Plate D Beautiful scalloped edge porcelain luncheon plate. Hand painted in a dark blue green with pink flowers and a red and puce butterfly. With gold gilt leaves and gold gilding along the edge. Has an impressed F & M mark used by Fischer & Mieg in Pirkenhammer between 1853 and 1873. Has some wear to the gilding and wear to the the blue green along the inner rim. There is also a shallow gilded over chip to the edge. No additional chips or cracks. Measures approximately 8 3/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. GRDX
