Description: Fire-Lite W-SD355 Swift Wireless Smoke Detector The Fire-Lite W-SD355 Wireless Smoke Detector uses a state-of-the-art photoelectric sensing chamber to provide open area protection. The Fire-Lite W-SD355 adds thermal sensors that will alarm at a fixed temperature of 135ºF (57ºC). It i s intended for use with the Addressable Fire Alarm Control Panels. Naturally, the Fire-Lite W-SD355 Wireless Smoke Detector communicates with the panels through a wireless mesh network to the wireless gateway. Wireless detectors create an opportunity for applications. Where it is costly, obtrusive, or possibly dangerous to use traditional wired devices. The devices can b e present on the same FACP providing an integrated solution for increased installation potential. All the sensors offer addressable code wheels and two LEDs. The LEDs a r e controlled by the panels. Operation modes include red, green, and amber colors with various solid or blink patterns. The mesh network within the SWIFT system creates a relationship between the devices. Each device has two parents providing a second path for communications. If one device can no longer operate for any reason, The rest of the devices can still b e communicated.
