No chips or cracks. Does show normal wear in the form of scuffs and rubs on the bottom. Red graphics look very good for its age. Buyer will not be disappointed in my described condition. Their well-known and well-loved brand, FIRE-KING was released in the early 1940's ... often producing and releasing similar or even the same products .... sharing graphics as well ...- Vintage Anchor-Hocking Fire-King - Red-Letter Graphics, Closed-Handle, Medium-Size, Measuring-Cup - MPN-498 - 2-Cup, 16-oz - in excellent, gently-used condition - perhaps from the 1950's or so ...ALL glass surfaces are highly-glossy, shiny, and clean. There are no stains, no wash-hazing. There are some light rubs, scratches, or contact marks from gentle age-appropriate use; some wear to the base seat-rim; some, inclusions, and fine air-bubbles within the glass.This Measuring-Cup has a smooth, rounded closed-D handle. The top edge is round - pulled forward to the spout, having rising spout-guards on either side. The form tapers from the top edge to the weighted base (which is 1/4" in thickness); the center-base is slightly recessed.There are Primary-RED-Colour, graduations on both sides of the Measuring-Cup. The Red graphics have good colour - crisp, clear and near complete - more to a satin sheen; minimal fleck colour loss; some fine rubs, scratches, and incidental contact marks.
