Description: Finland commemorated the 15th Summer Olympic Games, hosted by Helsinki in 1952, by the release of this complete set of four stamps in 1951 (the rose carmine and blue stamps) and 1952 (the green and brown stamps). The stamps feature a diver, soccer players, the stadium in Helsinki and runners. The stamps include a surtax denomination; the collected surtax funds helped finance these Olympic games. F/VF, mint, never hinged. Some gum aging/cracking. The actual size of the stamps is 35 x 25 mm, or 25 x 35 mm.
