Description: FINE / RARE ANTIQUE AMERICAN NY CONTINUOUS ARM BRACE BACK WINDSOR CIRCA 1790's OLD PATINA From the Shrewsbury Museum collection.Size : 37 1/2" tall x 23" wide at the arms x 20 1/2" deep to the back of the brace. A very fine early windsor in an old red surface. Bold turnings , fine vase shaped legs, 13 spindles and firm wide seating.Condition shows wear throughout which is typical for age. There is an old , weak repair to one arm as shown. Each arm has early iron supports attached on the underside (showing one in photo array)Help yourself here.
