Description: Listed here is a very fine pair of Chinese Embroidery Purses. The matched pair is a design of bats holding the peaches of longevity in their mouths. Extremely fine embroidery detail on the peaches and leaves. The workmanship is incredible and intricate. . The bats themselves have allover decoration of couched gold wrapped thread. These purses are in extremely good condition appearing to never have been used. The backs are undecorated and show remnants of old paper tags. On one you can see an old MADE IN CHINA clearly displayed. These purses measure almost 6 inches wide at the widest spot. Fine items for collectors of Chinese costume accessories.
