Description: Filson model 284 rolling travel suitcase/bag. Filson makes heavy duty high quality bags. Made in the USA. Very heavy green cotton canvas with heavy leather straps and reinforcement, and brass zippers. There are 2 zippered pockets on the inside. 36" long, approximately 14" wide x 12" deep when filled. This bag is used, and has scuffs on the leather. There is a worn place on one of the canvas corners. There are stains on the inside from wood stain. All of this is visible in the pictures. The wheels are in very good condition. I bought it to travel internationally for woodturning demonstrations, and only used it 2 or 3 times. It is too big when filled up to qualify as a standard airline checked bag. I cut the leather straps and sewed on nylon adjustable straps so I could cinch down the bag on the contents to keep things from rolling around inside it, and to keep it under the "oversized bag" limit. The nylon straps are reasonably heavy backpack style straps sewn with an industrial sewing machine. Please look at all the pictures before buying!
