Dr Hon also defined significance of FHR patterns based on years of clinical studies and astute observations. Currently, electronic FHR monitoring, during pregnancy and labor/delivery, has a universal application. Dr Hon's research contribution on FHR monitoring, and its impact for the welfare of mother and her unborn child, is well recognized.
