Description: This listing is for a Marigold Orange Tree Carnival Glass Loving Cup. The pattern was produced by Fenton from 1912 to 1929 and is one of the three carnival glass loving cup patterns that were made. The Orange Tree pattern was introduced in the April 1912 issue of the Butler Brothers wholesale catalogue. Fifteen different glassware products were shown on that page with the Orange Tree pattern, including the lovely Loving Cup. This Loving Cup has a rich Marigold color and a pretty iridescence! Beautiful to hold, but even better to share - hence the double handles and the reasoning behind the Loving Cup name of this type of cup. It is in great condition with no chips or cracks. Please view all of the photos as they act as part of the description. It measures approximately 6” tall X 6” at its widest from handle to handle. Measurements are 3.5 inches at the base and the mouth is 3.25 inches in diameter. Please Note: Most vintage/antique items will have minor wear due to their age and or years of service, which adds to the charm of these items. Whenever purchasing a vintage item, it’s natural to expect small imperfections. I do my very best to accurately disclose and photograph in the listing, however, I am not a certified expert of antiquities. Please feel free to contact me with any questions prior to purchasing the item as we do not accept returns on items that could sustain damage on the return transit.
