Description: FENTON CRANBERRY RED OPALESCENT"DAISY & FERN" KEROSENE/OIL LAMP MADEFOR L. G. WRIGHT CIRCA 1950'S Available for purchase is a beautiful kerosene/oil lamp with a cranberry red opalescent glass font. The pattern is referred to as "Daisy and Fern", originally made by Northwood and several other glass companies during the late 1800's and early 1900's. This lamp, however, was made by the Fenton Glass Company for L.G. Wright during the 1950's. The font is a square shape used in antique lamps made by Hobbs, Brockunier & Company in Wheeling, West Virginia during the 1880's. The font is mounted on an opaque white glass scalloped base with a brass connector. The brass 2-line collar is #1 size (7/8" inside diameter). The lamp has a new Victoria burner and wick as well as a clear shade and is ready for action. Just a beautiful lamp.
