Description: Purchased new in 2023, I leveled and dressed the frets and then swapped out the stock pickups for a Humbucker(Alnico 5) in the neck and P90(Alnico 2) in bridge and from Guitar Parts Zone on Ebay, made a custom bone nut and cut for 11 - 54 strings. The pickups are running through a 0.470 NOS Russian-made PIO cap, which adds to the tonal range. Also the Volume/Tone pots have been upgraded to CTS style and getting rid of the small budget version installed in the guitar orignally. The pickups sound great, I was glad to hear how good they sounded as I have tried a few of the boutique brands and these are on par with them. The two way slide switch is a coil tap for the neck humbucker, and the two-way toggle is an on/off treble bleed circuit. The Pearloid pickguard was custom-made from the original black guard. The tremolo(Fender original brand with trem lock button) was routed by myself from a purchased template. The holes for the tailpiece studs were filled in with dowling and finished with clear gloss lacquer to prevent greying of the wood. Overall a good guitar with lots of tone options, includes a Gator case. Current setup specs: neck relief 0.012” action on E @ 0.056” action on e @ 0.043” (measured @ 17th fret)
