Like its early Esquire models, the 70th Anniversary Esquire features a lightweight pine body known for its punchy and delicate tones, and roasting to significantly improve body oscillations. Other features include a lacquer finish, a thick U-shaped neck, a Tim Show-designed Esquire bridge pickup inspired by the Songbirds Museum's original 50-year Esquire in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and a special anniversary neck plate.
