Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster White Blonde [SN V1967679] The American Original '50s Stratocaster offers the legendary styling and tone of models of the era, plus modern playability and switching options. The potting (waxed) Pure Vintage '59 single-coil Stratocaster pickups on this model are faithfully reproduced to period specifications, from the Formvar coated coil wires to the cross covered output wires, fiber bobbin, Alnico 5 The pickups are faithfully reproduced to period specifications, from the Formvar coated coil wires to the cross covered output wires, fiber bobbins, and Alnico 5 magnets. The thicker Soft V neck shape is perfect for chord playing, and the 9.5" R fingerboard provides modern playability. The body has minor scratches and small paint chips, the pickguard is slightly lifted, and the back of the neck has been sanded and is no longer shiny. There are picking scratches on the fingerboard and PU cover, and metal parts are dull. The fretboard has been cleaned and adjusted, and the frets have been adjusted to match. Truss rod: No problem after checking the rod to 60 degrees to the left and right.
