Description: Vintage Pre-Prohibition acid etched shot glass in VERY GOOD condition. Condition is "used" All glasses are inspected very closely and graded according to the scale at the bottom of this description page, please take the time to read and understand the scale. Please look closely at all photos for an accurate understanding of condition. Very clean strike on this acid etched label. No chips or fleabites at all and the glass is very clear. The gold rim shows wear but it's not completely gone in any one area. This glass can be dated between either 1901-1912 or 1914-1918; the company had a different name prior to 1901 and then changed the spelling of its name for one year, in 1913. Some of the other brands produced by Dreyfus-Jones Co were: Aristocracy, Elk Brook, Guckenheimer Rye, Kansas City Standard, Old McBrayer, Old Nelson, Pure Springs, Red Elm, and Rock Cave. Possibility of very minor chip/scratch in the label if there are no other wear marks on the glass. VERY GOOD = similar number of wear marks as excellent rating, just a little more noticeable. Possibility of a light scratch ring on the bottom surface. Possibility of a minor chip or scratch in the label, nothing obvious.GOOD = many light wear marks with the possibility of 1-2 minor scratches somewhere on the glass. Noticeable scratch ring on the bottom surface likely. Possibility of minor label damage. WELL USED = lots of wear and/or multiple obvious scratches. Heavy scratch ring on the bottom surface likely.
