Fort Dells was Wisconsin’s answer to Disney’s “Frontierland.” The park opened in June of 1959 and was a pretty big hit until it closed in 1985. There were rides and other attractions, but the park is most remembered for its interaction with guests. This was a park that generations bonded over, and it is looked upon with great nostalgia.
