There are handling marks and scuffs throughout. The edges and corners show wear and the some of the coloring has come off. Down the center of the box, both the top and bottom has significant wear. It looks like tape was wrapped around it and when it was torn off it took the finish, but there are no rips or tears. The markings on the sides are legible but the top markings are partially missing. The interior white has started to turn a yellow color. The inside sleeve that separates the gun and paperwork has torn off and is missing. This box is not perfect but it will be a great addition for someone looking to get something original to store their Walther pistol in. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
