Description: Fabulous US WW2 Radioplane Drone Propeller Clock By Sensenich Corp (c.1942) This is fine fettle and comes off a US Army Radioplane developed by Reginald Denny of England, who’s company Radioplane produced 15000 target drones just before WW2, his most famous model was called Radioaplane OQ-2. (Marilyn Monroe was a technician fitting these at the munitions factory) Denny used this exact propeller on his drones, which has now been fitted with a Schatz 7 Jewell Ships Bell mechanical brass cased clock. The clock keeps perfect time and ticks along nicely, the ships bell works ok on the hour but the half hour seems a little confused but it does have an on/off switch for this. Overall the span is 45” and it’s stamped with the prop makers name and model/ serial number. Great display piece and possible fantastic Christmas gift !
