Exceptional Museum Quality Old Master European School 17/18th Cen. Oil Painting

Description: Up for sale is an Exceptional Museum Quality Old Master European School 17th/18th century Oil Painting. Featuring a wonderful tavern scene with a fur coated hunter holding his rifle and rabbit while his three dogs rest nearby three patrons and a serving girl, it is finely executed with a beautiful modern gold gallery frame. Measuring 33 1/4" x 26 1/2" by about 2" deep total in frame with the painting itself at 26 3/4" x 19 3/4", it is in very good fully restored condition. It appears to be oil on wood panel or canvas (difficult to determine without damaging it by removing layers to determine for sure as there is a large amount of over-varnish on it) that was later remounted onto board sometime in the 19th century and then fully cleaned, restored, and re-framed with a custom built gold frame at some point within the last 30 years.
