Description: Offered is this exceptional Qianlong enamelled glass snuff bottle standing 62.79mm [2.46in.] tall. The bottle has been skillfully carved from a block of glass having a well hollowed interior. Enemel decoration displays fine details not having any kind of rushed decoration but displays soft color enamels with fine detail, even having great care taken in the hand painted Qianlong seal mark. Also I have studied Chinese antiques for over 25 years and looks period to the mark in my opinion. Similar bottles have sold at high end auction houses in the six figures BUT this bottle does NOT have documented provenance only that I bought it from a thrift store that got a donation of early Chinese antiques. In this day provenance is everything and the fact that I have almost nothing invested in this bottle is why I have it priced in the mid 4 figures making for a great deal to the Asian expert/collector!
