Description: EXCELLENT WWII KINFOLKS ARMY AIR CORPS JUNGLE BAILOUT SURVIVAL KNIFE/MACHETE W/SHEATH. This is one of the survival knife/machetes made by Kinfolks for the Army Air Corps during WWII. Some pundits erroneously call them "V-44's". They were ordered by the AAC for use in aircraft bailout jungle survival kits, but once the aircraft reached the South Pacific they were often stolen out of those kits and sold or traded to Marines and Army infantrymen for use in combat. As shown by the photos, this one is in excellent plus, unsharpened condition, and is properly stamped "Kinfolks/inc." on the upper right side of its blade. It comes with its original Kinfolks sheath.
