Excellent Grained Kaywoodie SuperGrain 45C Dublin Pipe c1940’s-55 4-Hole Stinger

Description: About this Pipe: Here’s a wonderful earlier model Kaywoodie SuperGrain 45C Large Dublin with an intact 4 Hole stinger. It is in top shape and has well above average straight and flame grain I rarely see to this level on a Kaywoodie. It’s in near mint condition with no damage and in just amazing condition considering it’s been nicely aging for the past 70 odd years since first carved. The stain is really nice with a light tan finish showing off the grain lines well. I’ve meticulously gone through every part of this pipe. Even the little 4 holes on the stinger tip have been cleared and cleaned as well as all of the aluminum fittings hand polished. The stem aligned straight and true and the rim looks fantastic. The very well aged Briar has some beautiful straight grain all over the bowl. The Stampings are not worn off and still readable. The chamber is in excellent condition, reamed clean and smooth ready for a new cake to be developed. There’s no burnout or signs of misuse. In fact, it seems to be a low-use pipe as I try to offer in general here. I went back a year later and spent another hour making sure it is perfect to ship out. My prices reflect the amount of skilled work done to each piece. I hand pick each pipe as well and most are special in one way or another.
