Description: Eugen Kirchner (German, 1865–1938) etching, Haying, signed and numbered 30/30 in pencil. 1918-19. Faint foxing in margin, small moisture stain in upper right corner of margin, indentation and small tear in upper left corner of margin from paper clip. 4 3/16 x 5 3/8'' There are copies of this print online, one at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, that appear unsigned. I’m not familiar with the artist or his signature and it wasn’t always the norm to sign prints in this period.
