I love majolica and I've never seen the seashell/seaweed pattern. It's just stunning! This piece is old and should probably be used for decorative purposes. If used for creamer, take good care to hand wash and let air dry. It does have what appears to be a small crack on the inside (see photos). But it doesn't affect the overall beauty of the piece.
