The external automation with an electro-mechanical non-reversing linear arm automates residential swing-leaf gates with leaves of up to 12’ in length. It consists of an irreversible electromechanical operator with built in opening and closing limits and utilizes a worm screw system. The irreversible system ensures the gate is mechanical locked when the motor is not operating. A lock still needs to be installed if security or high winds are a concern.
