The size 6-3/4 solitaire style engagement/ wedding ring tapers in width from 6.98mm top center down to 2.62mm at the shoulders, down to 1.90mm bottom center. The ring consists of a platinum knife-edge tapered shank with a center platinum, tall four-prong setting containing one princess cut natural diamond. It measures 5.48mm X 5.42mm X 3.78mm in length, width and depth (not exact due to the mounting), and it weighs 0.96ct., estimated by formula. It is I1 in clarity and appears to be M in color with a strong blue fluorescence. It has good polish and very good symmetry with a slightly thick to thick polished girdle (where the top and bottom facets meet). The platinum is estimated to weigh 2.44 pennyweights. The ring was cast, assembled and handset with a bright polished finish. The ring is in very good condition.
