Most books have a small price and notation penned on the front cover page, and the most extensive instance of cover page writing is shown in the photos (1962 Boy Scout Handbook). Otherwise interiors are largely unmarked with the rare instance of underlined text and the 1998 Bear Cub Scout Book which has most of its activity sections notated.
