The selection switch on the Control Unit allows the driver to choose from a (RED or BLUE) alert flashing warning. The LED will continue to function even when the radar detector is in “dark mode” for discreet night driving. The LED will not illuminate when the radar system is turned off. Mute Switch/Button: (Surface Mount or Round) option differs per model: The Switch/Button can be mounted in a convenient location for the driver.
