Description: ES Prussia Prov Saxe Bird & Floral Tree Yellow & Green Berry Bowl Set C1900-1920 Antique German porcelain berry bowl set with large bowl and six small bowls. Decorated with a bird on a blackberry branch with a floral tree and yellow and green background. Black trim along the edge. Marked on the bottom Prov Saxe E.S. Germany. According to the Collector's Encyclopedia of RS Prussia, this mark was used by Erdmann Schlegelmilch ( ES Prussia ) between 1900 and 1920. Has two areas on the foot rim of the large bowl that have been ground down in manufacture, and a small flake to the edge of one of the small bowls. These also have some wear and scratches consistent with age and use. The large bowls measures approximately 8 3/8 inches wide x 2 1/8 inches tall. Each of the small bowls measures approximately 5 3/8 inches wide x 1 1/8 inches tall. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the pieces. IX
