Wraps. 29 issues, numbers 1 (1985) to 26 (2001), generally very good to fine. Very uncommon to find a complete run of this pornographic journal devoted to "good girl art," kinky illustrations, sex, fetishism and s&m, lingerie and panties, libertines, pin-up illustrators and photographers and general fantasy & erotica. In fact, we could find no evidence from OCLC/Worldcat that any institutions have copies of ANY issues of this rare journal. Texts in a variety of languages, mainly Italian and French. We could find no trace that this magazine lasted past issue 26. Each magazine is 70-100 pp. illustrated, much in color. Third issue with light waviness from old waterstain. The first 5 issues measure 13.5 x 12.75 inches, after that they measure 12 x 12 inches. Issue 10 (1987) has a special feature on "black women and jungle girls" that may be offensive to some in ways the others are not. No. 12 (1988) has a contribution by Charles Bukowski. No. 16 also has a full supplement "Sweet Bettie" (1991) devoted to Bettie Page. No. 17 (Oct. 1991) is Becattini's "American Good Girl Art 1900-1950s" and provides an excellent bibliographical and illustrated reference. "Sweet Bettie two" -- the supplement to issue 17, is also present. No. 19 (Oct. 1992) completes Becattini's project with his "American Good Girl Art 1950s-1990s." We also have the supplement to issue 19, Bizarre Life 4, featuring Sweet Bettie 3, John Willie, Peter Driben and Bill Ward. Issue 20 (Oct. 1993) is devoted to Doki Doki Zasshi, ed. by Silvio Andrei. Issue 21 (Oct. 1994) is Becattini's "Calendar Girls" featuring Vargas, Petty, Elvgren and others. No. 23 (Oct. 1996) is Jordi Bernet's "La Chica en Blanco y Negro." No. 24 (Oct. 1997) features Alex Toth. No. 25 (1998) is Becattini's "Crimes 'n' Gals in the U.S.A., a Pictorial History, 1930s-1960s." No. 26 (2001) is Becattini's issue devoted to the good girl art of Bob Lubbers. Contributors thus include: Alberto Becattini, Frazetta, Vargas, Crepax, Milo Manara, Leone Frollo, Dave Stevens, Bill Sienkiewicz, Steve Ditko, Alex Toth, Earl Mac Pherson, and Bob Lubbers.
