ERIC WYNALDA was born 6/9/69 in Fullerton, California. ERIC WYNALDA is a popular American soccer coach, television commentator and former player. He was an analyst and color commentator for ESPN and FOX Sports 1 and previously was the Head Coach of the Las Vegas Lights. Now 55 years old, Eric played forward from 1987-89 with the San Diego Aztecs and professionally played from 1988 for 20 years. He played International Soccer (Futbol) from 1990-2000 and has been involved in management since 2010. He represented Team USA in the 1992 FIFA Confederations Cup in Saudi Arabia and in the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 1991, 1993, 1996 and again in 1998. He was one of the first Americans to play professionally in Europe before returning to play in the MLS in 1996 where he scored the league's first ever goal.
