This is a good size specimen, measuring approx 2 inches on a large wonderfully landscaped piece of matrix. the shell covered in pustules and ornamentation. Beautiful lense can be seen in the eyes. The shell is preserved in a nice brown color. Please use the zoom feature to see the detail. It takes anywhere from 40-50 hours to prepare a specimen to this quality. Sometimes the Trilobite will have loose cheeks or bad articulation but not in this case. The last photos show the Trilobite under UV light. This shows whwr glue has been applied and mostly along the original limestone break used to find the specimen. There is no significant restoration as seen in the pictures.
