Description: This is a vintage English trinket box with a sweet sailor’s farewell on the inside of the lid. Probably made in the 1930’s to about 1950 (from my research on Grey’s pottery marks). It has a type of “oil in water” purple glaze around the edges. Condition: One small bite/nick in lid as shown in photo 7, otherwise perfect. Some slight crazing in the glaze. See the pictures, showing all sides! Measurements: the base of box, without lid is 4-3/4 X 3-3/4 X 1-1/8 inches, weighs 11 ounces. Any questions, please contact me.
