Description: On the Victoria Embankment’ (In the Park, London) lithograph by Emil Orlik (July 21, 1870 – September 28, 1932) was a painter, etcher and lithographer. He was born in Prague, which was at that time part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and lived and worked in Prague, Austria and Germany. This lithograph is bright and unfaded with fine detail and colour.The image measuring approximately 15 cm x 11 cm (6 x 4¼ ins.) on a wove paper sheet size 28 cm x 19 cm (11 x 7½ ins.) Published in London in 1900 by The Studio. Signed by the artist in the stone, with ‘The Studio’ embossed blindstamp in the lower margin. Gallery retail price; £350. Unframed and unmounted, blank on the reverse, the condition of the image and the sheet is good, with toning and handling marks condusive with age.
