This framing is a romantic scene of the 1700’s to 1800’s moved to fabric and embroidered with highlights and florals in 1930. The black glass matt with gold trim is oval in a Carved Wooden frame which is beaded and highlighted in gold. Many of these are depictions of art by Nicolas Lancret. This one is a sweet meeting between gentleman and lady. The embroidery threads are colorful and add a third dimension to the picture. Lots of florals. 5 ¼” x 6 3/8” outer dimension, 4 ½” x 5 ¼” inner glassed area. No chips, nicks, breaks. Please see pictures for condition of finish on the frame.
