(1882–1968) Signed Program Signed program page from the German pianist, who performed with baritone Emilio de Gogorza at Boston's Symphony Hall on November 27, 1921. She has signed at the head of the page, with two small clipped portraits of the two performers are mounted below. Their joint program included Beethoven's "Appassionata" sonata and piano works by Brahms, Schubert, and Chopin, alternating with a selection of folk and art songs. It was Ney's first appearance in Boston, and the Music Magazine praised her as "an unusually interesting pianist with original ideas about interpretation."
